What to Actually Look For in a Wedding Videographer
Most wedding videographer guides are a wall of jargon. Here's the short version: you're hiring a person, a process, and a delivery promise. Ask about all three.
Who actually films my day? This is the big one. A lot of studios sell you a showreel, then send a freelancer they found last week. Ask if the people filming are full-time and ask to see a full film start to finish, not just a 60-second highlight.
What happens to the footage after? A good film is made in the edit and the grade. Ask who edits and who colours your film. That back-end craft is the difference between footage and a film you'll actually rewatch.
How and when do I get it? Get the delivery timeline in writing. Ask how you receive the final film and how long you keep access. With us it's a private online gallery, delivered 4 to 5 months out, yours to keep.
Ready when you are.
